The healing power of the breath
Through all of the busy days and busy nights and through all of our daily activity, our breath quietly supports us. It automatically weaves through every movement and provides the energy we need for every moment.
Something powerful happens when we slow down and connect to our breath. When we shift our awareness to focus on the inhale and the exhale, we begin to explore the depths of our inner landscape and the connection between our body and mind.
The breath harnesses the power of our Prana, the vital life force energy inside of us, when we turn our focus to our breath, we can use it to help clear negative thoughts or energy from the body and the mind, creating space for positive, healing energy to flow through.
The breath is a primary theme in many of the classes and events at the Yoga Room. There are a variety of techniques for working with the breath and each approach is unique and beneficial. Each technique can be a powerful tool for creating balance and resilience.
