Sedona Is Calling
It was on my first visit to Sedona in 2021 that I met Aaron Ogden. My sister-in-law, Rachel, and I had booked astrology readings through a local tour company. They scheduled our sessions with Aaron and told us to meet him at the park at the base of Thunder Mountain.
When we pulled into the park that day, I was immediately struck by the powerful granite structure of Thunder Mountain. It was rugged and beautiful. It had a strong, grounding energy, but also an ethereal quality.
Aaron greeted us with a warm smile and gentle handshake, and I felt an instant connection to him. He felt it too and commented that it seemed as though we were old friends. This feeling grew stronger as he did the readings, and it felt like I had known him for years.
The readings were amazing. It felt as though he was reading the blueprint of my soul and my soul’s path. I’d had many astrology readings before, but most had not resonated with me the way this one did. It was not just what he said, but how he said it. His voice was soft but confident. His words were poetic while also grounded and practical.
Since that first meeting, I have become good friends with Aaron and have had dozens of subsequent astrology readings with him. These readings have supported me during difficult times and helped me heal after loss.
Despite the potency of these readings, even more profound have been the experiences I’ve shared with him on his guided Earth Journeys in Sedona and Mount Shasta.
These experiences are far more than guided hikes. They are an exploration of the human experience and our connection to the Earth, plants, animals, one another, and ourselves—as well as how energy affects each of those relationships.
For me, these experiences have been a spiritual journey and a deep dive into how energy has shaped, and continues to shape, my life. I have had a rocky relationship with spirituality, but through yoga, meditation, and connection to nature, I have gained a greater understanding of universal consciousness and the many different ways spirituality can be experienced.
This is what Aaron offers through his guided experiences. His Earth Journeys incorporate hiking, mindfulness practices, rituals, philosophy, and opportunities for deep contemplation and spiritual connection.
Aaron will be joining me for my Sedona retreat in October, where he will guide the group through these transformative Earth Journeys. His involvement brings an important dimension to the retreat and reflects the deeper connection to Sedona that has shaped my own experiences there.
