Join Tyler Lapkin for a two-part course exploring how mindfulness and meditation can bring greater peace, balance, and clarity into your life. Together we’ll learn the fundamentals of meditation and mindfulness, and be introduced to Wise View—a perspective that helps us understand how the way we see things shapes the way we live.
In the Buddhist tradition, Wise View is the first step of the Eightfold Path, the framework the Buddha offered for living with more wisdom and compassion. It invites us to notice how our thoughts and beliefs influence our experience, and shows us that when we see with greater clarity, we can meet challenges with steadiness, kindness, and balance. In this way, Wise View serves as the foundation for living with greater freedom and well-being.
No prior experience is necessary. Simply bring an open mind and an open heart. This is the first of two classes, the second of which is on November 19.
